Ted's Excellent Pictures Taken In Key West Florida 2007 to 2009

My kind of late-December weather!

Hot by day, warm by night, chill with beer

And where else can you see a guy dressed up as a mermaid?

Jolly good

Sunset shenanigans at Mallory Square

I'm dreaming of a Warm Christmas
at Key West Bed & Breakfast

Fort Zachary Taylor park ... and it's beach signpost

Whether you want a big ass ...

... or just a pain in one, Key West has got you covered

Private island, just west of Key West (don't ask how much)

Sunken ship for artificial reef

Fort Jefferson, on the westernmost islands called Dry Tortugas, 68 miles west of Key West

Used as a prison in the 1860's
The most famous inmate was Dr Samuel Mudd - he treated John Wilkes Booth's broken leg
after Lincoln's assassination, and was incorrectly presumed to be in on the plot.
(He's also incorrectly thought to be the inspiration for the saying "Your name is mud")

Instead of taking the day-long tourist ferry to Dry Tortugas park, I recommend arriving in style!
